Uninstalling

Removing the client without stranding your locks.

Do these in order. Steps one and two are the ones people forget, and skipping them leaves your locks held by a machine that is no longer coming back.

Submit or revert anything pending. Uninstalling does not release locks and does not touch your workspace folder.
Remove the device. Open Device Management, find this machine and remove it. That releases its locks and invalidates its session. If you have already wiped the machine, an admin can do it for you, or force-unlock the files.
Log out — cambium logout, or the account menu in the app. This revokes the remember-token for this device.

Remove the app.

macOS      drag Cambium from Applications to the Bin
Windows    Settings → Apps → Cambium → Uninstall
Homebrew   brew uninstall --cask cambium-desktop && brew uninstall cambium

What is left behind

Uninstalling the app does not remove your client state — the device id, workspace map, pinned server fingerprints and any remember-token. That lives in one directory:

macOS      ~/Library/Application Support/Cambium
Linux      ~/.config/cambium
Windows    %APPDATA%\Cambium

The desktop app and the CLI share it, so removing it resets both. Delete it if you are done with Cambium on this machine; leave it if you plan to reinstall and want your connections back.
